Inventory management allows to Add ,update and view the inventory of the product in the e-retail express.


Inventory can either be created manually or uploaded through an Excel template in bulk.


There are two option on upper left hand side, By SKU and By SKU Bin option :  



  • By SKU : To view the complete inventory of all the SKU Codes.
  • By SKU Bin :To view the SKU Code, bin location wise.


1) By SKU :


Inventory can either be created manually or uploaded through an Excel template in bulk.  


Inventory Create / Edit" :


To add the inventory of the product Click on 'Add Inventory' Button.  


Navigation : Products → Inventory → Add Inventory

A pop-up will get open as per below image.


  • SKU Code : Mention the SKU Code for which user want to add the inventory.
  • Adjusted Bin : The field is used to input the Bin where adjustment needs to be made.
  • Adjusted Quantity : Mention the quantity of SKU which you want to increase.
  • Reason : The drop down contains the values of different reasons behind the adjustment. 
  • Click on 'Save' button.

 

Inventory Upload in Bulk : There are three types of import:


Physical : To add Physical Stock in e-retail Express.
Virtual: To add Virtual or Vendor Stock in e-retail Express.

Inventory Move: To Move the inventory from one bin to another.


 

Physical : This field is used to upload all SKUs physical inventory in bulk through an Excel template.


Navigation : Products → Inventory → Import → Select Physical



Click on the ‘Download Template’ option to open the Excel template.  



  • Template consists of fields like Stock Adj Mode, SKU, Total Qty/ Available Qty, Adjusted Bin, Qty, Reason, Remarks Fields marked in yellow are
    mandatory fields. Adjusted Bin is Mandatory for very the first time while importing the inventory into the system.
  • To import this filled excel sheet, select the file location under ‘Choose a file or drag it here’ area.
  • An import batch number will be generated corresponding to this import.


  • If inventory import failed, the details will be populated in the data grid below with the error description. User can take an export of the same information by clicking on ‘Export’ icon.


Inventory export excel sheet :


Inventory imported successfully in the system will be visible on the Inventory View screen.


Virtual :

A virtual inventory includes all of the products  which are not physically present in the current warehouse, but can be arrange or procure or manufacture from other location or warehouse or vendor after order is received then fulfill to the customer.


Select Virtual type and click on the template name as ‘Download_Template’ option to download and open the excel template as shown below:


Navigation : Products → Inventory → Import → Virtual

Click on the ‘Download Template’ option to open the Excel template.  

Please Note : Total Inventory Push to Marketplace = Physical Inventory + Virtual Inventory 


Inventory Move : This field is used to move the inventory from one bin to another.


Navigation : Products → Inventory → Import → Inventory Move


On the Inventory page, click on Import Button and Select "Move Inventory" in Import type and click on the template name as ‘Download_Template’ option to download and open the excel template as shown below:


  • Template consists of fields like SKU, From Bin, To Bin and Qty.
  • User can enter the details in this template and save the same on desktop/laptop.
  • To import this filled excel sheet, user can drag that file and drop in 'Drag and Drop area'.
  • An import batch number will be generated corresponding to this import.
  • If inventory import failed, the excel sheet will get downloaded with the error description. 
  • Inventory imported successfully in the system will be visible on the Inventory New screen.

    Please Note: to be moved Qty must be less than or equal to the available qty in the current bin.


2) By SKU Bin  :


This screen display all Inventory of a SKU Code with respect to the BIN Location. 


Navigation : Products → Inventory → By SKU Bin 

It display following Information: 

  • SKU Details : SKU code(s) product detail.
  • Zone : By default it is GOODINV.
  • From Bin : The Existing bin where inventory is currently present. 
  • Total Quantity : The total quantity of all the SKU code(s) i.e. (Available Qty + Blocked Qty)
  • Available Qty : The available quantity of all the SKU code(s).
  • Last Modified Date : This field shows the update date of the inventory of the SKU.


Inventory by SKU BIN has following additional fields: 


Move Inventory : This field is used to move the inventory from one BIN to another BIN within the warehouse. 


To move the inventory, select the SKU code(s) and click on 'Move Inventory' button.  


Navigation : Products → Inventory → By SKU Bin→ Move Inventory

A pop-up will get open as per below image. 


Then Select the new BIN Location and Quantity of SKU which needs to be move from BIN to New BIN and then click on Move Inventory.


Note: Qty should be less than Available Qty and More than Zero.
