Transport management takes care of assigning route and maintenance of vehicle. A transportation management system (TMS) is a subset of supply chain management concerning transportation operations and may be part of an enterprise resource planning system.
To manage transporter through vinculum follow the steps given below :
To be on Transporter Management, Follow the path.
Under Other Masters, Click on Transporter Management
Transporter Enquiry screen will get open.
It contains the following fields;
- Transporter code
- Transporter name
- Transporter company name
- Transporter Type (Choose the type of the Transporter)
- Priority
- Country
- State
- City
- Status
To add a new Transporter, click on "Add New" button on Transporter Enquiry screen.
It will ask you to fill the Transporter Type, choose Types as shown in the image below.
Please fill the Transporter code(Numeric),Transporter name, Transporter company name, Contact details like Address, Phone, email, country, state, city, Pincode and click on Save.
Note: All fields in mentioned in star are mandatory.
Clicking on Save, It will move to Integration Settings.
To enable the API you have to provide Transporter Credentials, Which are :
- Username
- Password
- Customer Code
- LSP Code
- LSP Name
- Sender
- Dimensional WeightFactor
After filling all the details of Transporter click on save.
